Marty Stuart
Delivers A Electrifying Concert On 7/7/01
Marty
Stuart’s show at the Alameda County Fair in California on Saturday
evening, to say the least, was one heck of a show. Singing to almost
a
sold out audience, sang such hits as “hillbilly Rock” “Tempted”
and “The Whiskey Ain’t Working” and then quickly moving to a
wonderful tribute to the “Man In Black” Johnny Cash, in an exciting
version of “Blue Train”
“Long Black Veil” and finally in Marty’s own way of the song
“Doing My Time”. Then quickly moving to the song “Pilgrim” from
his latest CD by the same name. When the show finally slowed to an
exciting end
Marty received a well deserved standing ovation with a final song “ Now That’s
Country” Steven
Menke
