Railroad Man

He WIll Be Missed

Who among man grown from boy hasn't stood at some depot as the evening express roared through lights burning brightly, steam hissing, whistle screaming, and watch as it miraculously snatched the evening mail from it's stanchion. And what boy can get over forget the thrill, the sense of belonging when the engineer raised his hand  in salute as he moved his sleek, powerful black steed to worlds only dreamed of.

In this album, Hank Snow pays tribute to the train and the train-men as he remembers some of the greatest of all train songs.
