Million Dollar Quartet
The fourth member of the Million Dollar Quartet,
Johnny Cash, had joined Sun Records at roughly the same time as Carl Perkins. At first it
seemed as though the rock & roll explosion would hold little for him. His voice was
simply not designed with rockabilly in mind. However during 1955 Cash had also crossed
effortlessly into pop charts with beautiful stark and allegorical pledge of love " I
