(The Original Title Was "September County)
Starring - Gregory Peck, Tuesday Weld, Estelle Parsons, Ralph Meeker,
Charles Durning
Music By - Johnny Cash
Produced by - Harold D. Cohen
Directed By - John Frankenheimer
Screenplay - Alvin Sargent

Director John Frankenheimer did
an excellent job evoking the look and feel of the Tennessee backwoods in
"I Walk The Line" but wasn't able to pummel life into the
Screenplay which Alvin Surgent fashioned from Madison Jones's novel
"An Exile" a folk ballad told to the accompaniment of Johnny
Cash songs, it was the downbeat story of a southern sheriff's infatuation
with an amorous and amoral moon shiner's young daughter, and the tragic
consequence of that infatuation. Gregory Peck, essentially a good man
played the smitten sheriff, Tuesday Weld was the Sensual object of his affections,
Ralph Meeker was her father, and Estelle Parsons played Peck's confused
wife. Also in the cast were Charles Durning as peck's deputy, and Lonny
Chapman as a bawdy federal agent. The Producer was Harold D. Cohhen.
This
Side Of The Law
On this side of the law
On that side of the law
Who is right, who is wrong
Who is for and who´s against the law?
Well, you see I didn´t really mean you any harm
But I simply couldn´t make it on the farm
When the land won´t give a lot
You´ve got to do with what you got
And all I got´s the muscle in my arm
Well, I wouldn´t ever hurt my fellow man
And mister it seems to me that you´d understand
I´m just tryin´ to help myself
Without hurtin´ anybody else
And a man has got to do the best he can
On this side of the law
On that side of the law
Who is weak, who is strong
Who is for and who´s against the law?
Oh, I didn´t mean to let my family down
And I´m not giving you the run-around
I´d rather be dead
Than I have to beg my daily bread
And to pay my way no matter where I´m bound
Well, I didn´t really think that I did wrong
Just as long as I stayed here where I belong
I did the only thing I could
Same as anybody would
Yes, I was simply tryin´ to get along
On this side of the law
On that side of the law
Who is right, who is wrong
Who is for and who´s against the law?

Paramount Pictures staring Robert Redford, Michael J. Pollard, Lauren
Hutton, Noah Beery, Lucille Benson

Once upon a time, a generation
ago, there was a movie idol. the cowboy. Clean-cut, clean shaving,
the all American super hero - Hoot Gibson, Johnny Mack Brown and Tom Mix
rode the western plains stride trusty steels in search of Indians and desperados.
these were your father's heroes. Today's heroes and their steeds are something
again ! the drifter has replaced the cowpoke and the motorcycle has
superceded the mustang. A new adventuresome cult has arisen - cycle buffs
- and riding in with them comes a new rent in films. Such a film is this
Paramount Pictures "Little Fauss And Big Halsy" a saga of today.
And lets face it, "Little Fauss And Big Halsy" are not your
fathers heroes.

Music by Johnny Cash And Carl Perkins
For production of the motion
picture, producer Albert S. Ruddy and Director Sidney J. Furie
(The Ipcress File - The Leather Boy's) cast Robert Redford and Michael J.
Pollard in the leading roles, with a quartet of co-starring talent to
dazzle any movie-goer beautiful vogue model Lauren Hutton and Luscious,
Linda Gaye Scott, contrasted against the earthly simplicity of Noah
Beery abd lucille Benson. The original screenplay, written by Charles
Eastem, was spectacularly photographed by Ralaph Wooslsey.
"Little Fauss And Big Halsy"
was filmed where it really happens at Willow Springs Raceways outside L.A.
the Manzanitd Speedway in Phoenix and at the Sears Point Speedway
International in Sonoma, California

Look At Them Beans
To
John
I
try to remember the things that are precious to you, and I’d give you
money if that would do. But money won’t do it, that’s not your way.
Your money’s been for givin away. Now if you precede me and go to your
grave, and the angels knock the clouds about when Jesus comes to save,
I’ll be standing there to rise with you and to up as you do. And I will
love you, you’ll always be mine. Forever and always, till the end of
time. Till the mountains split open with the weight of the sun. We’ll
rise up together as one.
So
I’ll let my hair long hang down, cause that’s the way you like it. And
I’ll keep myself neat and nice for you, and I’ll have good food on
your table, and I will keep your house in order. And I will always love
you, You’ll always be mine. Forever and always, till the end of time.
Till the mountains split open with weight of the sun. We’ll rise up
together …as one. And I’ll pray for you, for your wisdom and
understanding and your charity. And even if you’ve been wrong and I’ve
known it, you’ve always been right, because that’s Gods order.
And
I will always love you, you’ll always be mine. Forever and always, till
the end of time. Till the mountains spilt open with the weight of the sun.
.we’ll rise together …as one. And I will smile for you and I’ll be
kind, I’ll love your babies just as I’ve love mine. And when I could
give you nothing, God blessed me and I gave you a son. And I will always
love you, you’ll always be mine. Forever and always, till the end of
time. Till the mountains split open with the weight of the sun. We’ll
rise together …as one June

- The Fourth Man
The Fourth Man
They wouldn't bend: (They held on
to the will of God so we are told.)
They wouldn't bow: (They would not bow their knees to Idols made of gold.)
They wouldn't burn: (They were protected by) the Fourth Man in the fire.
They wouldn't bend, they wouldn't bow, they wouldn't burn.
Now the prophet Daniel tells about
three men who walked with God:
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednigo:
Before the wicked king they stood.
And the king commanded them bound and thrown into the fiery furnace that
day.
But the fire was so hot that the men were slain that forced them on their
way.
Now when the three were cast in and
the king rose up to witness this awful fate,
He began to tremble at what he saw.
In astonished tones he spake.
"Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?
"Well, lo, I see four men, unhurt, unbound and walkin' down
there."
"There's Shadrach, Meshach and Abednigo: in the fiery coals they trod
"But the form of the Fourth Man that I see is like the Son of
God."
(They wouldn't bend:) They held on
to the will of God so we are told.
(They wouldn't bow:) They would not bow their knees to Idols made of gold.
(They wouldn't burn:) They were protected by the Fourth Man in the fire.
They wouldn't bend, they wouldn't bow, they wouldn't burn.
